2015 March, Santa Fe Announces Full Schedule of Live Summer Music, Dance

March 23, 2015 – A full schedule of diverse musical and innovative dance events has been announced for visitors to Santa Fe, New Mexico this summer as “The City Different” grows its reputation as one of America’s most culturally vibrant destinations. Santa Fe will offer a wide range of live musical performances from opera to bluegrass along with award-winning international ballet.

Antonio Granjero & EntreFlamenco – July 1 - August 30
Ignite your senses as world-renowned Spanish Flamenco dancers Antonio Granjero and Esetfania Ramirez along with dance company EntreFlamenco showcase a rich variety of flamenco song and dance for the summer performance season. Performances are at 8:00 p.m. nightly except Tuesdays at the Maria Benitez Cabaret at The Lodge At Santa Fe. Learn more at www.entreflamenco.

Santa Fe Opera – July 3 - August 29
Surrounded by the Sangre de Cristo and Jemez Mountains, The Santa Fe Opera is one of the most iconic venues of its kind in the world. The 2015 season welcomes performances such as Cold Mountain, The Daughter of the Regiment and Salome. The Opera also hosts “Opening Night Dinners” – a special event with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and an elegant three-course seated dinner with wine on the Opera’s lush grounds. Santa Fe Bandstand – July 7 - August 28
The Santa Fe Bandstand begins July 7 and hosts over 80 free, live performances throughout the summer. The music festival in the historic Santa Fe Plaza at the end of The Old Santa Fe Trail showcases a variety of music genres from folk and rock to blues, jazz, indie, New Mexican traditional, and more. The festival is produced by Outside In Productions, a nonprofit, community-based group dedicated to bringing free, live performances, presentations, and workshops to people who would otherwise not have access to the arts. Aspen Santa Fe Ballet Summer Season – July 10, 31 and September 4
This summer, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet (ASFB) unleashes an innovative program by international choreographic heavyweights featuring the world premiere of a commissioned work from Alejandro Cerrudo of Spain. ASFB will also present 1st Flash by Finnish superstar Jorma Elo and the return of fan favorite Beautiful Mistake by the Spanish Cayetano Soto. New Mexico Jazz Festival – July 11 - 27
This is the 10th year for The New Mexico Jazz Festival which features local as well as world-renowned artists and jazz masters and brings together two major New Mexico cities: Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Performances take place at multiple venues throughout the area and prices vary by show. Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival – July 19 - August 24
Since the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival was founded in 1972, it has become one of the world’s preeminent music festivals. The event attracts numerous artists to create music together, ranging in style from pianists, clarinet quintets, trumpets, percussion and beyond. Concerts take place in the intimate, historic St. Francis Auditorium at the New Mexico Museum of Art, The Lensic Performing Arts Center, and at Simms Auditorium at Albuquerque Academy. The capstone of the festival is the Music & Wine Gala, which takes place at La Posada de Santa Fe on July 21. Tickets are $600 per person and all proceeds benefit the festival. Santa Fe Bluegrass and Old Time Music Festival – August 28 - August 30
Local and national acts perform across three stages during The Santa Fe Bluegrass and Old Time Music Festival, which takes place at The Santa Fe County Fair Grounds. The 2015 headliner is Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen. For a complete list of performers and more information,
