Since 1972 the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival has become one of the world's preeminent music festivals, guided by a visionary spirit and dedicated to artistic excellence and innovation. Contributing to its magic is the Festival's unique Santa Fe setting, nestled amid the timeless splendors of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Today, under the spirited artistic leadership of composer/pianist Marc Neikrug, the Festival invites scores of distinguished musicians, along with emerging young talent, during its six-week season. Thousands of enthusiastic patrons young and old return year after year to enjoy more than 80 concerts, recitals, youth concerts, and open rehearsals. Performances are held in St. Francis Auditorium in the New Mexico Museum of Art and at the Lensic Performing Arts Center. During the year the Festival reaches out to young people in the Santa Fe public schools with innovative and inspiring education programs.

Pandemonium’s musical theater program is led by Executive Director Christopher Leslie who holds a Master’s Degree in Arts Education, has taught theater for more than 20 years and has directed over 100 student shows. Musical Director Cora Harms holds a Master’s Degree in Music and Conducting and has 30 years of experience teaching music.

The Zuni Show, downtown Santa Fe, on August 19th and 20th, is an event which features the art of the Zuni Pueblo. The largest of all the pueblos, over 70% of Zunis make their living from their exquisite hand made inlay and petit point jewelry, animal carvings, and traditional pottery. This is their major opportunity to sell directly to visitors and collectors during Indian Market weekend and there will be over 100 Zuni artists present, as well as Zuni Dancers and Olla Maidens.The artists receive 100% of their proceeds from their sales.
The Keshi Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote Zuni
arts and education. The Zuni Show last year was the first event produced by TKF and it was voted " top ten 2016 Native American shows" by an "American Indian Art" poll.

The Institute of American Indian Arts has a straightforward and powerful mission: to empower creativity and leadership in Native arts and cultures through higher education, lifelong learning and outreach. To accomplish this, the college offers both two and four year degrees in creative writing, Indigenous liberal studies, museum studies, new media arts, and studio arts.
The only school in the state of New Mexico to have National Association of Schools of Art and Design accredidation, the Institute is open to anyone. One does not have to be enrolled in an American Indian tribe to attend.
The Small Business Development Center at the Santa Fe Higher Education Center offers no cost professional counseling services to small business owners as well as prospective entrepreneurs. Additionally, low cost workshops are available year round to provide focused and informative content for the busy entrepreneur. Southwest Seminars is best known for weekly public lectures, held every Monday night at 6 pm at Hotel Santa Fe in the fields of Archaelogy, History, Native American Culture and Natural Sciences and featuring local, regional and sometimes national scholars.
Educational field trips with some of those same scholars are offered periodically or by special arrangement. Moving People Dance Santa Fe
Moving People Dance Santa Fe is a vibrant contemporary dance company based in Santa Fe, and hosts the Santa Fe Dance Festival each June. Moving People Dance Centre offers professional quality dance training to students of all ages. We provide a well- rounded dance education by emphasizing world-class instruction in technique, proper body awareness and alignment, injury prevention and longevity. We are interested in creating life-long professional and recreational dancers. The goal of the workshop is to give you a unique, fun, even joyous, art experience that lifts your spirits, expands aesthetic awareness and enhances your Santa Fe visit. All art materials, including a small primed canvas, are provided.
Shirley Crow earned her Bachelor of Science (with honors) in Art Education from the University of Missouri. She studied with and assisted the director of the Lowell Collins School of Art in Houston. She also won the Individual Artist Fellowship Award from and hosted visiting artists for the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, part of the National Endowment for the Arts, when she worked in Delaware. Her work has been exhibited at the U.S. Embassy in Belgium and many galleries, including The Read Johnson Gallery in Santa Fe, NM, Zane Bennett Contemporary Art Gallery in Santa Fe, NM, The Buddy Holly Center in Lubbock, TX, (including solo shows in 2008 and 2016) and the Delaware State Arts Council Gallery in Wilmington, DE.

New Mexico Wildlife Center (NMWC) is a great place for a family visit! We are located conveniently between Santa Fe and Espanola, and have live hawks, eagles, owls, bobcats, reptiles and other animals to see up close. Bring a lunch and eat on one of our picnic tables, or just come for a short walk around in the beautiful outdoors.
