Explore The Santa Fe Margarita Trail
Santa Fe welcomes a new trail! The Santa Fe Margarita Trail launches publicly on May 5, 2016 as an ongoing culinary cocktail experience for visitors and Santa Fe locals alike.
A margarita is the natural partner for Santa Fe’s world-renowned cuisine. With judicious pacing, appetizing morsels, and plenty of water, you can make some tequila magic in the City Different.
The Margarita Trail highlights 31 amazing margaritas to tantalize your taste buds. Create your own tasting tour with a Margarita Trail Passport. Passports will be available for purchase beginning April 29th at any of the Margarita Trail participating restaurants or at any of the TOURISM Santa Fe Visitor Centers. Trail adventurers 21 and older can use the Passport to receive a $1 discount on each special margarita. As you sample margaritas, collect stamps from the different stops and you’ll earn special prizes along the way! Passports holders can earn a maximum of two stamps per day to help ensure people drink responsibly and keep the trail fun.
Looking For Museum Quality Native American Art?
Native Treasures: Indian Arts Festival, Santa Fe’s only museum-quality Indian art show and sale takes place on May 27th through the 29th at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center. Over 200 Native American artists participate, each of whom is specially invited by the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, to represent the best and brightest of the Indian art world. In fact, many of the artists at Native Treasures are included in the Museum’s permanent collection.
Participating artists represent a wide range of tribes and pueblos, as well as a wide range of art forms, from traditional to contemporary, and from emerging artists to masters.
Discover A World of Fine Arts and Crafts
The Northern New Mexico Fine Arts and Crafts Guild Juried show also takes place Memorial Day weekend. That Northern New Mexico moniker is the clue; the artists and craftsmen come from both Santa Fe and serene villages scattered throughout our scenic countryside. The event takes place at Cathedral Park.
