New Mexico Performing Arts Society: Winter Blues
This beautiful program includes works by Johannes Brahms, the world premiere of a choral setting of Psalm 115 by Aaron Alter, The Stork by Gerald Near, as well as chamber music for flute and harp. Performance takes place January 6, 2019 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel.
New Mexico Brewers’ Guild WinterBrew
The 8th annual New Mexico Brewers Guild WinterBrew festival returns to the Santa Fe Farmers Market Pavilion on Friday, January 11, 2019. Admission includes sampling, a commemorative pint glass, and a pint fill of your choice. Breweries will be featuring cold-weather favorites such as stouts, porters, barleywines, winter warmers, and barrel-aged seasonals along with many of their year-round offerings.
Santa Fe Pro Musica: The Jacobsen Brothers
Eric Jacobsen, hailed as “an interpretive dynamo” by The New York Times, leads the Pro Musica Orchestra featuring soulful violinist Colin Jacobsen in a concert with the music of Mozart, Beethoven and emerging composer Jessie Montgomery. Performance takes place January 26 & 27, 2019 at the Lensic Performing Arts Center.
Ski Santa Fe Winter Music Series
Enjoy live music each and every Saturday as part of Ski Santa Fe’s expanded live music series. Come and grab a beer, a couple tamales and enjoy some live music on the deck of Totemoff’s Bar. Music scheduled 11 a.m.-3 p.m. each Saturday in January.
4th Friday Canyon Road Art Walk
Galleries up and down historic Canyon Road have joined together to remain open at least until 7 p.m. every fourth Friday of the month. Enjoy refreshments and entertainment as you take in the festive atmosphere and art on January 25, 2019.
Last Friday Art Walk- Railyard Galleries
The RAD (Railyard Art District), a cooperative of 10 art galleries, hosts its “Last Friday Art Walk” throughout the Railyard on January 25, 2019. Held the last Friday of every month, this exciting world-class contemporary art experience opens up the hip Railyard Arts District at night.
