Visiting Santa Fe

January 5, 2016: Renowned art collective Meow Wolf has announced the March 18 opening date for the highly-anticipated Meow Wolf Art Complex and its House Of Eternal Return installation. The public opening is 2:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. at 1352 Rufina Circle. Tickets are available now at

The House Of Eternal Return is Meow Wolf's first permanent exhibition and the follow-up to their wildly successful The Due Return. Game Of Thrones creator, longtime Santa Fe resident and supporter of the project George R.R. Martin says, “House Of Eternal Return is going to be like nothing you’ve ever seen before.”

135 artists are involved in creating 70 different individual immersive spaces, a 300 person music venue, an arcade with 14 games, four tree houses, an interactive cave system and more. The exhibition takes audiences of all ages into a fantastic world of exploratory imagination by way of a radical new form of storytelling where audiences are immersed within a multi-media art experience that unfolds through an interactive and magical narrative.

You walk through the entry and stand in the front yard of a Victorian home. All is quiet except for the chirping of crickets. Entering the house, you see the living room where the uncle of the family often snoozes, but mystery builds when, in the dining room, you see scorch marks and a chandelier askew, caught in some corkscrew of time.

The house and the family that lived there have been hit by a break in the time-space continuum, with wormholes attaching to the house that transport visitors through both time and space.

“We will take people inside a sci-fi novel,” promises Vince Kadlubek, CEO of Meow Wolf.

Santa Fe Mayor Javier Gonzales says “Santa Fe is one of the world’s premier art communities and we have more professional artists per capita than anywhere else. House Of Eternal Return will showcase our depth of progressive talent in an unprecedented way and create memories that locals and visitors will cherish for a lifetime.”

On Thursday, March 17th, Meow Wolf will host an opening night Gala reception for artists, investors, and V.I.P. members. A limited number of Gala tickets will be on sale at for those who want a first-look at the project.

The Meow Wolf Art Complex will be also be home to Make Santa Fe—a 21st century maker space outfitted with 3D Printers, CNC Routers, Laser Cutters and other high-end equipment for public use—and CHIMERA: The Meow Wolf Arts Education Program that teaches digital design, computer programming, sculpture, painting, film, and other creative mediums to 25,000 students of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds via internships, summer camps, and in-school education.
