I want to thank you and your team for the recent opportunity to study Santa Fe up close. For me and several in our group, it was the first-ever visit to your city.
First, I want to congratulate and thank your entire team: April Gallegos, Kim Harmon, and Justin Cox were each incredibly knowledgeable and supportive during the tour. They were the perfect hosts, guides, and ambassadors to the city and its venues.
Second, I want to thank the mayor for speaking with us at the convention center, and the leadership and staff of each of the hotels, restaurants, museums, galleries, sites, and attractions we visited. I was surprised with how much ground we covered, how much there is to see and do, the variety of places a group can stay.
Going into this tour, the largest barrier in my mind was the distance from Albuquerque -
- but now that I've made the trip, I would much rather move quickly through gorgeous country than crawl through traffic in a larger city.
If one of the purposes of the trip was to create new, informed friends among meeting planners for Santa Fe, I would say you and your team have succeeded. I would be happy to be a reference, share my experience, or help in any way you might need in the future, and of course, look for opportunities to come back.
