In 2003, STEPOLOGY began with a goal to preserve and propel the American art form known as tap dancing. Through instructional workshops, performances, a youth scholarship program, and other activities, STEPOLOGY aims to enrich the local and global communities with an increased understanding and appreciation of tap. STEPOLOGY's annual Santa Fe Tap Festival features New Mexico and visiting performing artists from across the country in a world-class concert performance at the Lensic Performing Arts Center, and workshop classes hosted by National Dance Institute of New Mexico. STEPOLOGY also provides ongoing tap instruction throughout the year.

The Santa Fe Culinary Academy is one of the Capitol's newest and most ambitious professional endeavors. Located in the heart of the historic district, on the top floor of the Plaza Mercado building the SFCA will offer community cooking classes, a 50 week professional program, dining experiences and a one-of-a-kind event space to Santa Fe locals and out of town guests alike. Our culinary classes are designed with three distinct markets in mind; amateur/home cooks, professionals seeking further education and individuals with professional aspirations.

The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum Store offers a unique selection of jewelry and giftware made by local artists, and the largest selection of O'Keeffe reproductions available anywhere. Visitors come from all over the world to admire the art of Georgia O'Keeffe and purchase gift items inspired by it. Join the Museum's education staff and guest artists in a family, fun hands-on learning experience. The free monthly program explores ideas and themes found in current exhibitions. Tour the Museum then create your own art. Children ages 4-12 and their adult companions explore pertinent themes in art by looking at works on exhibit in the galleries and participating in multi-disciplinary, hands-on art activities that promote critical thinking skills and creative, interdisciplinary art making. El Canon is a favorite gathering place through out the day and into the evening. Start the day off with Starbucks coffee and a pastry baked in-house daily by our own Pastry Chef. Lunch offers hand carved sandwiches, soups such as Green Chile Corn Chowder and Salads. In the evening relax by our kiva fireplace and enjoy a selection from our extensive wine and a light dinner fare. Breakfast Buffet served daily in Pinon Grill.

The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum is located in downtown Santa Fe within easy walking distance of the historic Plaza. The Museum collection is the single largest repository of O'Keeffe's work in the world. The Museum is open 7 days a week from 10 AM to 5 PM, and on Friday evenings until 7 PM. Admission is $12 for adults; $10 for seniors (age 60+); $6 for New Mexico residents (with ID); $6 for Military/Law Enforcement (with ID); $10 for students (18+ with ID); and free for youth and students under 18.
