If it is interesting, rare, one-of-a-kind, tribal, ethnic and unique, you will most likely find it at the Whitehawk Ethnographic Art Show. For the past 30 years, this art show has featured over 80 dealers specializing in the finest ethnographic and tribal antiques from around the world.

Yes, you will find museum-quality artifacts but you won't find any stuffy attitudes because in addition to the quality of the merchandise, Whitehawk is known for the friendliness and approachability of its dealers. Committed to educating collectors and buyers, our dealers are always willing to share provenance, stories and information.

Experience the excitement of the Gala Preview Party on Thursday, August 13th from 6-9pm. This event is considered the “launch party” for all of the art shows and events that take place in Santa Fe during August. Gala Preview tickets are $75.00 and include a full dinner buffet, complimentary drink ticket and entertainment.

The Antique Ethnographic Art Show continues Friday, August 14th from 10am – 6pm and Saturday, August 15th from 10am – 5pm. Tickets are $10.00 per day and all tickets are available at the door – cash or check only visit our website

37th Annual Antique Indian Art Show - Preview Party

Celebrating its 37th year as the country's largest and longest running show specializing in antique Indian art, Whitehawk has become the “must attend” event for anyone interested in buying and collecting tribal art from the Americas. Every year dealers and collectors from around the world gather at the Whitehawk Show to marvel at the variety and quality of the collections offered. It's like visiting 100 of the countries most unique and interesting galleries in one special locationǃ

The Gala Preview Party kicks off the show on Sunday, August 16th, from 6pm - 9pm and offers guests a unique opportunity to be the first to view and buy from each dealer's premier collection. The Gala is a lively evening event with a reputation for bringing out the “glitterati” of Santa Fe and where it is not uncommon to spot a celebrity or two. The ticket price of $75.00 includes a sumptuous dinner buffet, complimentary glass of wine and Native American entertainment.

The Antique Indian Art Show continues Monday, August 17th and Tuesday, August 18th from 10am –5pm. Both shows will be held in the new Santa Fe Community Convention Center located in Downtown Santa Fe at 201 W. As part of the official kick off event donors, sponsors, select artists, tribal leaders, and media will gather for a reception to celebrate the start of the 2015 Indian Market. This reception will highlight the exciting new addition, Indian Market Edge- a contemporary art show which will included never before seen native artists and the galleries and organizations that represent them. Performing arts, music, wine tastings, and food will round out this event.

There is only one opportunity to see so many phenomenal award-winning pieces in one place before they find new homes during the opening frenzy of Saturday Morning, and that's at the Sneak and General Preview events. Crowds of supporters clamor and flow into the Convention Center to see artworks before Indian Market officially opens.

SWAIA members get an early look at the winners during the earlier, “Sneak Preview” hours. The “General Preview” is the public's first chance to see Indian Market 2015 artwork and takes place immediately afterwards.

A joint Conference gathering people interested in three of the most significant trails in North America: El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro, the Old Spanish Trail, and the Santa Fe Trail, will provide a chance to share information and learn about new ways of evaluating the trails and their impact on our identity. The Conference will present opportunities to explore environmental and sociological aspects of the trails and their connections, as well as their history.

Friday and Saturday mornings will have Trail-related historical presentations by recognized authorities followed by afternoon field trips to important sites along the trails plus three evening events.
