Kitchen Angels is a not for profit home delivered meal program serving the greater Santa Fe area. Our mission is to provide free, freshly prepared and nourishing meals to homebound individuals living with chronic, life threatening or terminal illnesses. Kitchen Angels was founded in 1992 when a group of people identified a gap in the social safety net program in Santa Fe. We currently employ four full-time and one part-time staff. We are housed in the Coll Green Angel Depot, a facility dedicated to ending hunger in Northern New Mexico. We utilize 280 well organized volunteers who prepare and deliver healthy and appetizing meals five days a week. Additionally, our mission includes regular opportunities for our volunteers, staff and board members to interact with those less fortunate. Our volunteers donate 24,170 hours of service annually.
