Locations

Santa Fe is one of the world's most beautiful places in which to get married, both indoors and out, anytime of the year. It's a popular wedding destination for locals and couples who travel here from around the world just so they can take their vows in this magical spot. Because this unique city is steeped in romance, you can choose from an impressive number of locations and find the one that's perfectly suited for your Santa Fe wedding plans.

Historic churches offer hallowed settings, with hand-carved vigas, hand-painted murals, stained glass windows and a deep sense of the sacred. Many couples choose to have their wedding in Santa Fe in a downtown chapel featuring a miraculous staircase built with no visible means of support. Following the church service, take your wedding party to one of Santa Fe's world-class hotels for a gala reception. Dance the evening away with a big band in a glamorous ballroom or celebrate in more intimate, romantic rooms lit by candles and kiva fireplaces glowing and soft guitar music flowing.

Many brides and grooms hold their Santa Fe wedding ceremonies surrounded by nature, in grassy meadows with colorful, fragrant flowers, towering cottonwoods and Russian olive trees. Others gather in lush gardens on resort properties, on intimate patios and terraced gardens of historic adobe bed and breakfasts, and high atop a mountain ridge in the courtyard of a handsome hacienda overlooking breathtaking mountain vistas.

Because Santa Fe is such a celebrated arts center, many couples exchange vows in art galleries, sculpture gardens or museum courtyards. If you want to really embrace the notion of "different" in the City Different, get married in Santa Fe in the peaceful setting of a Zen center, in a Japanese Tea House or on board vintage trains of the Santa Fe Southern Railway.

The possibilities are endless and there's no better place than Santa Fe to celebrate the start of your new life together.
