Catering

You want your Santa Fe wedding feast to be as memorable as your special day. Santa Fe chefs are famous for their artistry in the kitchen, so you can count on your wedding meal to be superb. From the rehearsal dinner to the celebratory feast and the cutting of the cake, getting married in Santa Fe means you and your guests can savor outstanding cuisine that showcases the astounding array of ingredients indigenous to New Mexico as well as foods from around the world.

Consult with Santa Fe caterers to plan the perfect menu, whether you're holding a wedding brunch, lunch or dinner. Work with chefs who hand pick food from local farmer's markets and boutique farms. Maybe you'll select red chile-rubbed filet mignon, organic lamb loin or halibut dusted with green chile. Perhaps you'll prefer pinon and juniper smoked duck breast, cashew-crusted tuna or braised Kobe shortribs. Or plan a meal featuring pan-Asian foods from Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore. You can also arrange an all organic, vegetarian feast.

Santa Fe caterers can design the cake of your dreams as a splendid grand finale to your feast, whether you desire a traditional white, multi-tiered cake or an artistically sculptured and decorated cake that reflects the unique personalities of you and your beloved.

In the skilled hands of our chefs and bakers, your wonderful Santa Fe wedding feast will be a meal to always remember.

BIENVENIDO BERT’S LA TAQUERIA
Welcome to Bert’s Santa Fe La Taqueria & Restaurant

Our building sits on the famous Camino Real, “The Royal Highway”. The building formally was a very popular restaurant called “La Tertulia”, owned by the Ortiz Family.
The origin of this building was part of the historic Guadalupe Mission Church Complex; home of the Dominican Nuns. In the early 1900’s the entrance used to be through Agua Fria, across from this door entrance were now is a bathroom was the Sacristy. The last room before the patio was the chapel of the convent, next to that room you see the remains of a wall mural originally painted by the students of the elementary school ( now days Nussbaumer Gallery), operated by the Dominican sisters this mural was later repainted by one of the sisters. The lobby was originally used as the laundry room. The last room with high ceilings & stout vigas (beams) was a later addition to the building.
During previous periods distinguished Santa Fe families resided in this splendid dwelling. Their names are representative of the early days of this city.
Across the street is “El Santuario de Guadalupe” one of the oldest sanctuaries in U.S
