Over 200 Native American artists participate, each of whom is specially invited by the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, to represent the best and brightest of the Indian art world. In addition to established artists, we have an Emerging Artist section to showcase new talent.

Traditional Spanish Market - 61st Year
July 27-29, 2012
Santa Fe Plaza (downtown)
More than 200 Hispanic artists gather on the Santa Fe Plaza on for the annual Traditional Spanish Market, which features an array of Spanish Colonial art works, including hand-carved furniture, tinwork, weavings, straw appliqué and images of saints. Live entertainment from the stage accompanies the events both days. This is the largest Hispanic market in the country.

The world famous Santa Fe Indian Market is the largest market devoted to Native American arts in the world. It is Santa Fe's largest and most popular event, drawing about 100,000 visitors. More than 1,000 artists gather on the Santa Fe Plaza to sell their traditional and contemporary works, including jewelry, pottery, textiles and more.

Outdoor Artist Markets
Santa Fe also has a number of seasonal outdoor art markets, where you'll find painting, photography, sculpture, glass, ceramics and other unique works of art to purchase.
Santa Fe Artists Market hosts a juried outdoor art show every Saturday in Railyard Park across from the Farmers Market from March thru December. They also host three shows at Cathedral Park in May, July, and October and Winter Shows at Sanbusco Center January thru March.

The Northern New Mexico Fine Arts & Crafts Guild presents the Cathedral Park Arts & Crafts Fair in May, July and September in Cathedral Park, on the east side of St. Francis Cathedral.

Ohkay Owingeh Arts & Crafts Show -

This show has been the largest Native American owned and operated outdoor arts exhibition and market in the western United States. The people of Ohkay Owingeh want to carry on that tradition. Also rated fourth best Festival in the US, by Arthur Frommer of Budget Travel on MSNBC. Now in it's 40th year, our desire is to rebuild the participation, support and attendance for this historical event.
In addition to the arts, visitors will find an exciting program of traditional Pueblo dances - accompanied by the enchanting rhythms of Native American drums, flute players and singers. Visitors to the show should bring their appetites, as they will have a rare opportunity to partake in delicious traditional Pueblo food including bowls of red or green chile, posole, Indian tacos, oven bread, fry bread, Indian cookies and pies and other traditional treats.
