Santa Fe enjoys a semi-arid climate. Due to the 7000-ft elevation, summers are extremely mild with warm sunny days and cool breezy nights. Air conditioning is seldom necessary in Santa Fe (although this townhouse does include it). Nestled between the Sangre de Cristo Mountains (east) and the Jemez Mountains (west), winters are usually mild although nights are often below freezing. The low humidity and clear blue skies free from and smog produces one of the most healthful in the US. Sun shines 300 days/yr.

As an Easterner, this climate is super, as the acridness produces much sunshine, and little humidity, which, at both hot and cold temperatures, makes one feel great!
