From pianists to jazz singers, tango companies to string quartets, and symphonic music to recitals, Santa Fe Concert Association has been bringing the world’s best performers to Santa Fe since 1937. The 2010-11 season includes superstar pianist Lang Lang in recital at The Santa Fe Opera, ballet classics from the Russian National Ballet, Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons,” and scintillating lecture-recitals by SFCA’s director,
conductor-composer-pianist Joseph Illick. Other special treats are Beethoven’s Triple Concerto on Christmas Eve and Ninth Symphony on New Year’s Eve, both with Illick conducting the SFCA Orchestra; a touring production of the classic “The Music Man”; and the famed Takacs String Quartet. Venues include the Lensic Performing Arts Center, Santa Fe’s flagship hall.
