Shirley A. Crow
11 Arroyo Pequeno
Tesuque, NM 87574
"I love to explore ways to express life force! During a recent visit to the Grand Canyon, I was blown away by the beauty of the rocks in the Trail of Time - they make me feel connected to everything, the past and the future. I use photos of the rocks as inspiration in my new series. The process of oil painting and drawing is an adventure."
"I welcome visitors to my studio - exchanging ideas stimulates my creativity and perhaps theirs. My studio is open by appointment."
Shirley Crow's work has been exhibited at Zane Bennett Contemporary Art Gallery, The Santa Fe Art Institute and the Museum of Fine Arts in Santa Fe, as well as the American Embassy's Cultural Center in Brussels, Belgium. She has also exhibited at the Buddy Holly Center in Lubbock, Texas, the Forsyth Center Gallery at Texas A&M University, the University of New Mexico Hospital Art Gallery and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. She won the Individual Artist's Fellowship Award by the Delaware State Arts Council.
