1. History/Plaza (Any Season)
Meet your tour guide on the Santa Fe Plaza and set off for a two-hour walking (or driving) tour that explores the history of old Santa Fe.
Enjoy a traditional New Mexican style lunch from noon to 1:30 p.m. at one of our group-friendly restaurants. Make your lunch special by including a band of mariachi musicians and singers.
Spend one hour of free time exploring the shops in and around the Plaza and the jewelry and other arts and crafts sold outdoors by Native American vendors beneath the Palace of the Governors portal.
2. Traditional Art Lover's Tour (Any Season)
Spend two hours exploring art galleries and shops along the famous Canyon Road, starting at 10 a.m.
Lunch from noon to 1:30 p.m., enjoying innovative cuisine with Southwestern influences at one of our group-friendly restaurants
Spend about an hour viewing work by painters of the Santa Fe and Taos art colonies in the downtown New Mexico Museum of Art. Or visit the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, the sole museum in the country devoted to a woman artist.
3. Contemporary Art Lover's Tour (Any Season)
Spend the morning exploring Santa Fe's flourishing contemporary art scene. Established and emerging local, national and international artists exhibit their work in the city's museums and galleries. SITE Santa Fe, a contemporary art space that hosts a significant biennial, is a great place to view innovative work by artists from around the world and from Santa Fe. SITE is located downtown in the Railyard, a former industrial lot that's been revived as a hot spot for galleries, boutiques and other shops.
Enjoy lunch in one of the Railyard district's restaurants. Choose from eateries serving traditional New Mexican fare or classic American comfort food.
Devote your afternoon to discovering more contemporary art and modern interior design in the galleries located in the Railyard district or along Canyon Road. Also consider visiting the Museum of International Folk Art and the New Mexico Museum of Art.
