Circus Luminous at the Lensic
November 26 - 28, Friday - 7pm, Saturday - 2pm & 7pm, Sunday - 4pm
Circus Luminous is a professional circus featuring local aerialists, acrobats, musicians, dancers and clowns. It's an annual "new circus" extravaganza featuring breath-defying circus acts created and performed by a predominantly local circus, dance and musical cast. Circus Luminous began in 2002 as a collaboration of Wise Fool New Mexico, The Lensic, Moving People Dance Theatre, and Bing! It has become a Santa Fe family tradition - playing to sold out audiences at the historic Lensic Performing Arts Center each year.

The SWAIA Winter Indian Market, formally known as the "SWAIA Winter Showcase," is a yearly Native arts sale held during Thanksgiving weekend at the Santa Fe Convention Center. This year the Winter Indian Market includes 130 Native artists, eight artist demonstrators, silent auction, a holiday concert by Robert Mirabal and a "Fashion Row" featuring the work of Native fashion designers Patricia Michaels, Penny Singer, Dorothy Grant and Margaret Wheeler.

Winter Celebration at the Museum of International Folk Art

'Tis the season to celebrate, and all ages are invited to this festive event, which includes two puppet show performances of Doña Adelina by Los Titeriteros. Hands-on art making activities, performance by Sangre de Christo Chorale.

Las Posadas on The Plaza

Join the tradition as this annual candle-lit procession of Las Posadas travels around the Santa Fe Plaza and concludes in the Palace of the Governors' courtyard with carols, cookies and refreshments. This free, family event recreates Mary and Joseph's search for a place to give birth to the Baby Jesus.

Christmas Eve Canyon Road Farolito Walk
Starts around dusk on Friday, December 24
This beloved holiday tradition delights all who walk Canyon Road, which is decorated with farolitos (small, sand-filled bags with votive candles) and luminarios (bonfires). The joyous sounds of carols and friends and families greeting each other fills the air.
