Bureau Adds Second Sales Manager

Debra comes to the bureau as Sales Manager with extensive experience in hospitality sales, catering, and operations. The Santa Fe Convention & Visitors Bureau has added Joellyn Baca to the bureau's meeting sales team. In her new position, Baca will oversee the bureau's west coast meeting sales.

Santa Fe Cleanest Air in US 2012

According to the American Lung Association's "The State of the Air 2012" report released April 25, 2012, the Santa Fe-Española Metropolitan Statistical Area was the only city in the country to be ranked cleanest in all three categories of pollution measured in the report: short term particle pollution, long-term particle pollution, and ozone pollution.

The association also rated Santa Fe, and Honolulu, as having the cleanest air in its 2011 State of the Air report. Continue...

September 15, 2011: The International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) will hold its 2012 World Summit in Santa Fe. American Eagle Direct Service from Dallas & Los Angeles to Santa Fe

American Eagle offers daily, roundtrip air service between the Santa Fe Municipal Airport and Los Angeles LAX and direct flights between the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Santa Fe. During the late spring, summer, and fall there are three daily non-stops from Dallas; flights are cut to two per day during the winter. American Eagle LAX to Santa Fe Service

The Inaugural flight of American Eagle's new daily, non-stop service between Los Angeles and Santa Fe took off from the city's municipal airport on November 19, 2009 becoming the third daily flight now serving the city. The Los Angeles service was joined by a second daily flight from Dallas to Santa Fe that also began service on 11/19. Santa Fe has been recognized as New Mexico's top city for walkers and was rated as one of the top 100 walking cities in America by Prevention magazine and the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA). Santa Fe to Los Angeles Air Service

American Eagle will begin new daily, roundtrip air service between the Santa Fe Municipal Airport and Los Angeles LAX beginning on November 19, New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson announced. He revealed news about the flight today, June 11, 2009 at the Santa Fe airport during a press conference held after the first of American Eagle's direct service flights between Dallas and Santa Fe landed.

Third Santa Fe to Dallas Flight Now Flying

After adding a second Dallas/Santa Fe flight and a Los Angeles/Santa Fe flight in mid-November, a third American Eagle direct flight between the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and the Santa Fe Municipal Airport began service on February 11, 2010. Santa Fe Convention Center Opens 2008

The Santa Fe Convention Center held its official opening September 25, 2008-the only date available when the new facility wasn't already busy and booked.
