New Santa Fe Promotion Brings Savings and Culture to City Meetings

The Santa Fe Convention & Visitors Bureau (SFCVB) has a new offer for planners looking for value and a memorable event: Experience Santa Fe... On Us. For meetings booking a minimum of 500 or more rooms per night for 3 or more nights, the bureau and participating lodgers are ready to provide a true Santa Fe Experience-and some value added bonuses.

The "On Us" campaign is part of the bureau's new meeting practices, policies, and procedures designed to give meeting planners and conference coordinators more reasons to consider Santa Fe as a cost-effective event location.

For qualified meetings the bureau will provide as part of the On Us promotion:

- A complimentary welcome reception with Native American dancers, Native American flute player, beer, wine, and local foods.

- Complimentary transportation between hotels and the LEED Gold Certified Santa Fe Convention Center.

- Complimentary meeting space at the Santa Fe Convention Center.

- Refund of the cost of a site visit after a qualified meeting's booking confirmation.

"We have taken a new look at how we can better serve our meeting partners by more effectively and economically accommodating planner's needs, while offering an authentic Santa Fe experience and the use of our outstanding facility," said Jim Bradbury, Executive Director of the SFCVB.

The Santa Fe Convention Center provides 40,000 square feet of highly flexible meeting space within easy walking distance of 1,500 rooms, attractions, restaurants, shops, museums, and galleries.

Santa Fe has long been rated one of the country's top leisure travel destinations, a key draw for planners hoping to maximize attendance. The culture, cost savings, and convenience offered in this new incentive program exemplifies the bureau's efforts to meet planners more than half way when in the market for a state of the art meeting venue in an unforgettable setting.
